SAHAS is committed to providing financial, immigration, and educational help to Afghan Hindu and Sikh refugees in Afghanistan.

During the COVID pandemic of 2021, SAHAS wired funds directly to the Afghan Hindu Sikh refugee family members who were locked down.

Now SAHAS actively preparing the immigration paperwork for those who want to immigrate to the US.

SAHAS is also working with other countries such as Canada and Australia which are accepting refugees.

The US Immigration Act of 1990 established the Diversity Visa (DV) program, which makes up to 55,000 immigrant visas available through random selection. The program allows those from Afghanistan to to enter for a chance to apply for a U.S. immigrant visa. If your background is from Afghanistan, you are eligible to apply.
